Afghanistan – At last the pretence is over, Afghanistan is not a democracy as the Yankee’s would have us believe. It a puppet regime, kept in power by US and NATO firepower.
Only the puppet has rebelled and become too difficult for his Yankee masters to handle. So now the US government is going to appoint the next Afghan prime minister’ without reference to Afghan president, Hamid Karzai.
The Yankee’s simply do not like being told by their puppet that indiscriminate bombing of civilians is not winning the war, it is actually recruiting ever more into the ranks of the Taliban.
The creation of a new chief executive or prime ministerial role is aimed at bypassing Karzai. In a further dilution of his power, it is proposed that money be diverted from the Kabul government to the provinces. Many US and European officials have become disillusioned with the extent of the corruption and incompetence in the Karzai government, but most now believe there are no credible alternatives, and predict the Afghan president will win re-election in August.
This should go down very well in country where honour and face is everything. It is so funny that the Yankee Cowboys are repeating the same mistakes that they made in Vietnam.
