UK – Wednesdays poison gas attack on the Damascus suburbs of Ain Tarma, Zamalka and Jobar that is claimed to have killed up to 1400 men women and children is undoubtedly a serious war crime.
When news broke the US puppet press was repeating unsubstantiated rebel claims that the Syrian government had fired a missile with a gas war head at the Damascus suburb. with all the gusto that that they could. before anyone had any real evidence to back it up.
We do have to ask why now when two important things are happening. The first is that a UN chemical weapons team visiting the country. The second is that President Bashar al-Assad’s forces are winning on the ground. His amnesty policy is working with whole towns changing sides back to Bashar al-Assad.
From the telegraph
The move is a sign of the growing confidence of the regime, which has established a so-called “ministry of reconciliation” with the task of easing the way for former opponents to return to the government side.
Ali Haider, the minister in charge, said: “Our message is, ‘if you really want to defend the Syrian people, put down your weapons and come and defend Syria in the right way, through dialogue’.”
Mr Haider, who has a reputation as a moderate within the regime, has established a system in which opposition fighters give up their weapons in exchange for safe passage to government-held areas.
All the evidence that we have seen so far is that President Bashar al-Assad is not going to roll over and play dead for the benefit of the west. Far from it in fact he has been careful not to get into a war with Israel. Clearly Bashar al-Assad regime is not suicidal.
If you add that fact that the Russians are reporting that the gas attack at Aleppo was by an affiliate of the Free Syrian Army. The chemical agent was carried by a “Bashair-3 unguided projectile”, which was produced by the Bashair al-Nasr Brigade, a rebel group affiliated with the Free Syrian Army.
Then we add that on the 21st of May 2013 Turkish security forces found a 2-Kg cylinder with sarin gas after searching the homes of jihadist militants from al-Qaeda’s Jabhat al-Nusra (Nusra Front) who were previously detained, Turkish media reports. The gas was reportedly going to be used in a bomb.
Then to make matters worse the UK Government put pressure on the Turks to release the men with the sarin
The UK is equipping Syrian opposition forces with £650,000 of protective equipment against chemical and biological attack, Foreign Secretary William Hague has said.It includes 5,000 gas escape hoods, nerve-agent pre-treatment tablets and chemical-weapons detector paper. The equipment is a “gift” from the UK to the Syrian National Coalition.
With all this evidence it easy to see where the Sarin came from. The UK’s Porton Down science park. The vigour with which little ‘Willi’ Hague keeps promoting the idea of intervention in Syria he has to have his boss’s complete confidence and support. Hague must be shit scared that someone will find out that the nerve gas was supplied to al Qaeda by the UK and smuggled into Syria via Turkey.
You can not even begin to imagine just how far off the moral compass that the UK Government has strayed. It is so far off the norms of decency that it needs a parallel anti universe to even begin to comprehend the extent of their crimes.
