UK – The Loathsome as Michael Gove is he is absolutely right about grade inflation. Yet another big thank you Margaret Thatcher and Kenneth Baker. This was then Compounded by Tony Blair.
Grade inflation has cost students their grants, tuition and course fees and the financial advantage that getting a degree gave you, before GCSE came along and allowed grade inflation to happen. The proof? you need a degree to become an office junior now, in the 80’s almost any retard could get that position.
Why because it is cheaper for people to be at university paying course fees and tuition fees than on the unemployment benefit. Fucking cynical or what?
A degree is only financially worthwhile if it is rare, basic supply and demand. Capitalism 101
