UK – Once again we have to choose the bastard of the week. Once again we have the usual collection of suspects. At home we have Iain Dummkopf Schmidt losing in the courts again, Michael Gove just for breathing, David Cameron because everything he does turns to shit.

World wide we have Bibi Netanyahu the Israeli psychopath’s murdering Palestinians because they have the gaul not vacate their homes that happen to be land that the Zionists have designs on.

But there is one who stands head and shoulders above the others. That is Baroness Butler-Sloss, the retired judge appointed to lead the Government’s major review of child sex abuse amongst the political establishment, and its subsequent cover up by successive Home Secretaries.

At first you might wonder why she is the selection for bastard of the week, well it is well earned. She is the sister of Sir Michael Havers, who backed the decision of the director of public prosecutions not to prosecute Sir Peter Hayman, a diplomat and subscriber to the Paedophile Information Exchange. Hayman was caught sending paedophile literature through the post but was not prosecuted.

Sir Michael Havers also tried to prevent the former Member of Parliament Geoffrey Dickens from using parliamentary privilege airing claims about the errant diplomat in parliament in the 1980s. That alone should be enough to make her unsuitable to chair such an enquiry.

An honourable person would stand down at that point, but there is more. In a recent enquiry the good baroness tried to cover up the involvement of a CofE Bishop Ball, 82, the former Bishop of Lewes and Bishop of Gloucester. Who was later charged with indecent assault. The reason that she gave the victim was that she loved the church and that the press would love (to flay) a Bishop.

David Cameron may have thought that she was a safe pair of hands to handle such an enquiry, especially one that may include several Prime Ministers, Home Secretaries, the secret service’s, Senior civil servants and even the royal family itself.

All in all we feel that Baroness Butler-Sloss has earned the title Bastard of the week in spades.
