UK - The disgraced former head of children's services, Sharon Shoesmith, 55, has lost her appeal against getting sacked by Haringey council over the death tragic toddler Baby Peter Connolly at the hands of his mother, Tracy Connolly, her lover, Steven Barker and her lovers brother paedophile Jason Barker who is also known as Jason Owen.

It should come as no surprise to Sharon Shoesmith that she lost the appeal against her sacking. It comes with the high salary and the responsibility that the job entails.

It matters not that it is true that people will always kill their children if they are determined to, but it never does to say that to the press when the department that you are responsible for has made a fuck up of such monumental proportions as Haringey social services has.


Baby Peter Connelly lest we forget.

Baby Peter Connolly's mother, Tracy Connolly, her lover, Steven Barker and her lovers brother paedophile Jason Barker who is also known as Jason Owen are still awaiting sentence for failing to protect Peter Connolly, had been due to be sentenced at the Old Bailey on 15 December but it has been delayed "for legal reasons".

The Judge Stephen Kramer said the sentencing had been put off for at least three months, "For legal reasons, the sentencing of the three defendants is postponed until March or April 2009."
